Volunteer at the 18th International Congress of Behavioral Medicine (ICBM 2025)
The International Society of Behavioral Medicine (ISBM) is delighted to invite individuals from Vienna and the surrounding area to volunteer at ICBM 2025 taking place on August 6-9, 2025, at the University of Vienna. We are expecting over 600 delegates from all around the world to attend.
Volunteers are critical to the success of the congress, and we are thrilled that you are interested in participating as a volunteer. Please fill out the form below and a member of our team will get back to you on your assigned role and schedule. The tasks include but are not limited to
- Session Room Assistant – Ensure the smooth running of the session, assisting the speaker where required, session attendance tracking etc.
- Speaker Ready Room Assistant – Assist the speaker/presenter to upload their presentation material etc.
- Poster Session Representative – Assist the presenters where required
- Registration Assistant – Help welcoming delegates and provide them with the congress badge
- Directional Assistant – Provide wayfinding assistance to delegates
You are required to commit to at least one day to receive full volunteer benefits. We would very much appreciate your assistance in helping to make this congress a memorable experience for delegates. Please circulate and publicize our call for volunteers, as appropriate, through your institutions.

In return for volunteer services, ICBM 2025 offers the following benefits:

- Complimentary Congress registration when a minimum of one full day of volunteering is confirmed throughout the Congress, for the days/times you do not work

Please note, volunteers will be responsible for their own accommodation arrangements, if necessary, and transportation costs.
You are required to:
- Committing one full day of volunteering
- Attending a mandatory training session on August 5, 2025

Upon confirmation of your availability, you will be provided with a volunteer training manual in July. This manual will outline the responsibilities associated with your assigned role(s) and your scheduled volunteer shift(s). Please make sure that you are available for the training session, scheduled for August 5, to ensure you are confident with the facility, the team and the Congress itself.
